Do you have a remedy to reduce stress? Or maybe I should ask, are you stressed? Do you tend to stress out? If so, how do you relax your mind, body, and soul? For me, a good spa or a nice massage experience does the trick for me. Every. Single. Time.

A Spa-Like Bathroom

Granted, quiet time, in specific, helps me to reduce stress, it's something about going to a spa or even to a hotel. I'm sure there's a phycology behind the affects of a spa and how quiet time can be a sure remedy to help someone relax.

I believe, once you're in a space where everyone else is out of it, your mind focuses back on you. Just you. Not the world. Not a note that needs to be written down. Not a text that needs to be sent. Just. Pure. Calm... and you. You like you right? I like me.

The images shown in this blog revolve around the scenery of Bali, Indonesia and all things Zen. I named this project, Bathroom Spa because it resembles a small bathroom inside a spa to me. All that's missing is a jacuzzi and a masseuse. This project is a dialog for a bathroom interior design project that cultivates and enhances the showering experience for the user. A moment of Zen and peace. I want the user of this bathroom space to step inside this zone after a day of hard work or just for a time to themselves. This is a moment to unwind.

Color palette: green, tan, and ivory.

Accent colors: black and gold.

Materials: Marbles, stone, woods, glass, mirror, and metals.
