After a consultation, I identify client needs and objectives. I go into depth during the consultation because at this point, I see what’s at hand and can identify needs best. The timeframe varies depending upon the scope of work. I will perform a walkthrough, discuss design options, space plans, and etc.

Space planning, selection of furniture and accessories, as well as the creation of furniture layouts are developed. During this phase I space plan and select furniture based upon the consultation.

Cost estimates are prepared and schematic design options presented are refined prior to purchasing and installation. In this phase, I clean up the schematic design to fine tune selections prior to purchasing.

Millwork specifications (if applicable), finish selections, lighting plans, fixture selection, plumbing locating, electrical layouts, bids are obtained, contractors are selected, and purchase orders are issued.

Final stage where building and/or installation of furniture and accessories takes place. To ensure documents are followed to plan, the designer may be present to ensure accuracy.
